In the inside cover of a New Testament, Grandma Holtzman wrote this timeline, indicating the locations of the various missions and churches at which Grandpa Holtzman ministered.

The timeline (all in Illinois):
Sterling, 1904-1906
Davis, 1906-1907
Sherrard, 1907-1910
Mt. Pulaski, 1910-1913
Springfield, 1913
Sterling, 1913-1920

(J.L. retired to Sterling because of poor health in 1913; he passed away in Sterling in 1925.)
