Entered Maranatha in Watertown. Played soccer that fall. Loved it. College life was regimented like a military school. Students complained about the strictness. Not me. Like "summer camp" after my home. Similary, others stressed over "rigorous classes." Again, academics were a breeze after my high school. Like high school, I made good grades, but never liked school. Wanted to be out in the "real world." Starting in June 1972, I spent weekends working at Oakhill in Janesville. Always carried 18-24 hours, took summer school, and graduated in 3 years.
