Grandma's writing on back of photo: "Cleaning Bethlehem Church, October 1906. When Ezra, Ella, Alice came to visit us. While J.L. was preaching in Davis. State line of Wisconsin, 7 miles north of Davis." (J.L. Holtzman is at right in the group.)

The Holtzman's were at Davis only a year before the Conference moved them to central Illinois.

1st birthday—Davis, Illinois. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th in country Sherrard, Illinois. Her 7th—Mt. Pulaski. Her 8th, 9th, West 4th Street, Sterling. Her 9th birthday— East 4th Street, Sterling, till married in 1927. Moved here from West 4th—Avenue L (September 1914)

Inscription: "Our little Darling Ruth Evelyn Vietta. Taken January, 1907. Davis, Illinois, Parsonage. Her dress is light blue, given her for Xmas by Mrs. Meiutzer(?)."
