Breastfeeding Cafe
The Breastfeeding Cafe meets at Mocha
Moment, the 2nd Friday of each
month, 10:30 a.m. to Noon.
The Breastfeeding Cafe is part of La
Leche League of Rock County:
The Breastfeeding Cafe is an ongoing series of meetings for breastfeeding
moms and moms-to-be. These relaxed, informal, drop-in sessions provide
breastfeeding moms with information, support, encouragement, education,
and the often much-needed socialization.
Pregnant and new moms can meet other experienced, local nursing moms
and ask questions about nursing, adjusting family life, pumping, going
back to work, starting solids, or any other concerns they may have.
A trained, accredited breastfeeding counselor is on hand, along with
an information library and a small lending library of books especially
for breastfeeding families. These sessions provide each mom with a range
of ideas to choose from so that she can pick those that appeal to her
and her family.
You're invited to sip tea, coffee, a latte, hot chocolate, or one of
our all-fruit smoothies with us and relax at The Breastfeeding Cafe which
meets at Mocha Moment, 1121 Center Avenue, Janesville. Mocha Moment has
a bakery, light lunch, and an assortment of fruit cups. Moms, pregnant
moms, and (or course) babies are welcome!
