Violet
After just a few months, Violet rejoined her family because her parents were moving to Huron to work at Armour packing plant. Jacob gave his daughter a bike which she rode all over Huron including to high school. Violet worked part-time at the packing plant with her parents. Looking at intestines was a strong motivation to go to California to look for a more exciting life.
