We loved Aunt Viola's vibrator weight loss machine. We'd lay on it and it would do all the work. She played the piano a lot, especially in her older years when she couldn't see very well. Aunt Viola always taught Sunday School and Child Evangelism. She and Aunt Elizabeth (Grandpa's sister) taught a weekly club of 20-30 kids in Aunt Elizabeth's basement. She owned and used beautiful flannelgraph which the kids loved. They always served a snack. Aunt Viola worked at Missionside, a Mennonite mission for the poor near the packing plant. Tending a beautiful flower garden (behind the garage of the apartment house), Aunt Viola always grew flowers and took them to the church, every single Sunday. She loved her nieces and nephews.
