When Grandma was in Parkersburg caring for Jenny in her last days, Grandma Holtzman wrote this out. Janna was called "Jenny" by her family. Grandma was the oldest in the Johnson family and Jenny next. Grandma often talked of her parents. One evening when Mother was away, she asked me to check on Grandma. When I went, she was in the dark. She must have been dreaming and apparently I woke her. She talked about her father and mother being in heaven. They were surely a close family. When Jenny died of cancer (1932), Grandma went to Parkersburg for a time to help care for her in her last days. (recollection by Janna Hey Dean)
