Dean-Hey Heritage

In 1859, Jacob Hey purchased the southern half of the southwest corner of Section 23 in Jordan township. As the Jordan plat shows, Jacob later added to his farm by purchasing 40 acres directly east and 40 acres in Section 26 directly south of his original 80 acres. In 1885, Jacob sold these 160 acres to his son John Phillip as described in this warranty deed.
