Jacob and Katie

Jacob purchased Block 6 in the 800 Block of Lawnridge Avenue SE, in Huron, South Dakota. At that time, Jacob rennovated and lived in the only existing house, a tiny affair to the south of the property. Next, Jacob built a house on the north end of his property. Later, Jacob built an apartment house, and finally the house at 830 Lawnridge in which he and Katie lived and died.
The apartment house and the original house to the south of the property have been torn down.
