"J.L.'s first wife, Elizabeth, died in 1897 and was buried in this cemetery because J.L.'s mission was at Forreston at that time. Zwaantje, a member of the mission, became J.L.'s second wife. When he died in 1925, Zwaantje had him buried in Forreston because his first wife was here and it had been her home. Consequently, she was buried beside him when she passed away August 20, 1964."
