COW CLIPPER
Supporting 11 kids, dad generally worked extra besides a main job. He was well known for cow clipping. In fact, he was featured in the paper. But this had an unintended affect: the tax collector wanted to know why he wasn't paying taxes on this extra income. Well, that ended the cow clipping.
Periodically, dad threatened the boys that he would cut their hair with the cow clippers if they didn't keep it cut themselves. But apparently, it was Dad who needed the haircut first.
