Cotta Johnson's farm auction.

Zwaantje used to tell how her youngest brother Cotta was an engineer on the railroad and that their mother worried about his safety until he went into farming.

Cotta became a farmer in South Dakota. In 1910 and only in his 30's, Cotta was kicked by his horse. The kick ruptured his spleen and killed him. The flier is from the auction of his farm goods.
