Clement Hey Bridge, Sugar Creek,north of Sterling
I discovered this bridge in a strange way. I ran cross country in high school. One afternoon when I was out running, I ran across this bridge and stopped to look at the plate. Lo, and behold! My mom hadn't known the bridge's name either. Whiteside County had asked Uncle Clement to sell them land to build this bridge which bordered his farm. He said no, but that he would donate the land and pay for the bridge.
