Dean-Hey Heritage

Schooner: Dad covered this wagon for a customer, a Dr. Kiersgard, an anesthesiologist at Community General Hospital, who pulled it with mules at reenactments.

Hey Brothers Truck
One day dad called mom "to come see what I'm working on." An old Hey Brothers truck used to pick up milk cans. Hey Brothers had bought a new tank truck after the war, and sold this truck to Lawton's Apple Orchard (on Prairieville Road) who used it to haul spray equipment for trees. Dad restored the upholstery.

Jim Lyon, our family dentist, restored many antiques. Dad generally upholstered both tops and seats for him, including these two cars.

1909 Overland (before and after).
Dad upholstered the seats with intricate diamond tufting.
