Estes Park Bob Schuneman holding binoculars. He and his wife, Sally, were from Sterling and going to school at Denver University. Sally's mother was a good friend of Gram, and she was there also at Estes Park when we were there. Bob and Sally invited Dad and me for supper after my family left Denver. I then stayed overnight with them while Dad went back to his motel room. After we moved back to Sterling when Steve was a year old, they invited us to a New Year's Day brunch, but we did not keep up a friendship.  |
