Grandma's: 1513 1st Avenue

Tom Hey (grandson) writes, [I have] "...very vivid memories of our visits there. The crooked sidewalk to the house.. the birdbath.. the swing set in the back yard. I remember running up that crooked sidewalk, coming in through the back porch and always looking forward to Grandma's cuckoo clock on the wall, hoping to catch a "cuckoo!" It meant we were really at Grandma's house. If we were lucky, Grandma would have a box of Lucky Charms waiting for us! I would always look forward to Grandma playing the piano. Grandpa Hey always got me with the blackbirds trick, and always beat me at checkers. I have so many fond memories of our times visiting Sterling."
